The East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) Careers Hub introduces a new career exploration tool, Panjango, aimed at helping young people discover job opportunities in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire. The platform offers an interactive, game-based experience where students can explore careers in industries like construction, healthcare, creative arts, and more.

Panjango helps students develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication while providing real-world insights into various fields. It offers free resources for schools and features content led by employers from across the East Midlands, including major names like Rolls-Royce, Derby County FC, and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The platform covers industries such as;

  • Engineering – Rolls-Royce, Murphy Group, Roadgas, East Midlands Hydrogen
  • Sports – Derby Arena, Derby County FC, Nottingham Forest FC
  • Healthcare – Chesterfield Royal Hospital, EMCCA, Peak District National Park
  • Creative media – Derby Theatre, Nottingham Castle, Nottingham Evening Post
  • Construction and Infrastructure – Alstom, Henry Boot, Skanska, Minerals Matter
