Momentum Valley

The East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) was pleased to take part in the Momentum Valley – Investment for Growth Summit, held at the East Midlands Conference Centre today (Wednesday 9 April).

The summit brought together key partners for the region, investors, equity funders and grant holders to unlock growth and open doors to businesses across the East Midlands.

As a headline partner, EMCCA played an active role in the summit, including a main stage one-to-one interview between the Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward, and Kurt Jacobs from Insider Media. The discussion focused on the Mayor’s priorities, the economic vision for the East Midlands, and the role of investment in driving inclusive growth. During the conversation, the Mayor shared insights into how EMCCA is raising the profile of the East Midlands on the national stage and ensuring the region’s voice is heard.

The Momentum Valley summit aimed to foster new investment partnerships and connect growing businesses with regional and national support. The event welcomed over 200 attendees, with businesses from across the region taking part in keynote sessions, networking opportunities, and a business investment pitching competition.
